We are glad you came to this page, especially if you have not made a profession of faith in
Christ. Many feel that there is something they must do to be saved, perhaps some work or
good deed, and there are those who will try to make it into Heaven based upon their own
good works, their own clean lifestyle or their good intentions. The fact is, none of these
things will get you into Heaven.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift
of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV)

So if we can't be saved through anything we do, then what must we do to be saved? The
Apostle Paul gave us the answer in his writings to the Romans.

"That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God
has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 (NKJV)

But not just Paul...Jesus Himself told us God's plan of salvation, and how we could be
saved.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in
Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16 (NKJV)

So how do we know that it Jesus alone that can save us? How do we know that accepting
Him as Lord and Savior is the only way to Heaven? Here are a couple of Scriptures that
point to this fact...

"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father
except through Me'." John 14:6 (NKJV)

"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among
men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 (NKJV)

If you are ready to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, say this prayer, mean it
fully with all of your heart...

"Dear Lord. I come to you this day, admitting that I am a sinner and lost without you. I
ask that you forgive me for all of my sins, cleanse me with the blood of your precious Son,
Jesus. I ask that Jesus come into my heart and be the Lord of my life. Thank you Lord, for
hearing my prayer, for saving me and giving me the gift of salvation that only you can
give. I know that Jesus is Lord, I believe that He lives because You raised Him from the
dead. Help me now to live my life for Jesus Christ from this day forward, in Jesus name I
pray, Amen."

If you prayed this prayer, you have made the first step. YOU HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN! Don't
let the Devil or anyone else try to convince you otherwise. It doesn't matter what you may
have done in the past, or what sins you may have committed. Jesus died for you, as He
died for all of us, and He loves you with an everlasting love. Hold on to Christ and He will
walk with you everyday of your life.

Now, I said you have done the first part. The next thing you must do it tell someone the
good news of what God has done for you. It can be a friend, it can be a co-worker, it can
be a stranger, but tell someone about your gift of salvation!

Next, find yourself a good church. One that teaches the Bible, that believes in the Word of
God, and go to it every chance you get. Grow in the Lord by making Christian friends and
going to fellowship with them.

Be baptized. This is important, as it shows the world your profession of faith in Christ, and
is symbolic of the blood of Jesus covering your sins. You go under the water the old man,
and you come out of the water a new one!

Get yourself a Bible. Many churches will provide you with one if you don't have one. Study
God's Word everyday, so that you can be strong in your faith and know what His Word
says for your life.

Stay in prayer. Besides having the Word of the Lord, it is your greatest weapon of faith
and your direct line to Heaven.
